Reporting Damage in transit / delivery issues
Please notify us immediately if you experience or have experienced any delivery issues. We must be notified within 3 working days. If you have received an item that has sustained damage in transit contact us immediately as we will need to claim under our insurance provider. If a product is delivered faulty or a fault occurs within the first 14 days from the delivered date (and the fault is covered under the manufacturers guarantee) then we will collect the item and have it returned, where we will inspect and, if found faulty, return the item to the manufacturer for repair. If a fault is reported after a 30 day period from delivery, then it is the consumer's responsibility to return the item to us, where we will inspect and if found faulty return the item to the manufacturer for repair. Once repaired, the item will be returned to the consumer at no extra cost.
Distance selling regulations and order cancellation
You have the right to cancel your order by notifying us in writing or via e-mail within 14 working days from the date of delivery. It is then your responsibility to return any such goods in the condition in which they were supplied to you by us to include all original packaging. Please note that once we have been notified and the refund notification has been accepted you have 14 days to return the goods to us using a secure service. Please ensure that the item to be returned is sent via a recorded service and in adequate protective packaging. We will not be responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit from the consumer to us.
The consumer responsible for the cost of returning any goods to us. Goods returned incomplete, damaged, or in any condition other than saleable as new. for example, original packaging missing, protective film removed, scratches ect, can not be accepted. Please note it is also the consumers responsibility to pay all outgoing shipping charges involved in the initial supply of a returned product under the 14 days terms.
Please ensure that the item to be returned is sent via a recorded service and in adequate protective packaging. fivesend will not be responsible for any items lost or damaged in transit from the consumer to us.
Once we have received your order back we will issue a full refund less any outgoing delivery charge within 7 working day
Stock
We aim to maintain stocks of all the products shown on our web site. However, all products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we are unable to supply ordered goods, we will refund any money already paid or hold the order until we can fulfill the requirement. In some circumstances the products will need to be ordered from a supplier. If so, your order may take a few days to arrive. We will contact you if there is any excessive delay.

If you're buying a new electrical item, we will recycle your old one for free. Why recycle?
Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.
To return any unwanted items to be recycled under the terms and aims of the Weee regulations customers are invited to do any of the following
1) simply drop your unwanted item back to us within 28 days of the purchase of your new item. This should be on a like for like basis i.e. an old amplifier returned to us for recycling due to the fact you have purchased a new amplifier from us.
2) alternatively we will arrange collection of your old item for recycling to coincide with delivery of your new item that you are purchasing. Once again this has to be on a like for like basis where by the new item would be able to be regarded as a replacement for the old to be recycled item
3) If you wish to send an item back to us for recycling please send it to our normal trading address fivesend, 14 Penn Lane, Brixham, Devon, TQ59NP tel 07805 459880. Please email us if you wish us to arrange a collection for you and please provide details of your new purchase or one of our order numbers
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
What is WEEE? The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
